It’s now clear that Normani is a solid solo artist. In the visuals for her latest single, ‘Motivation’, she captures throwback music videos. We see her capture looks from Beyoncé, Christina Milian, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and many more.
Co-written by Ariana Grande, Motivation is a sexy, upbeat R&B single that will get you working. Normani is tweaking on fences, doing back flips on the basketball court and dancing in the rain.
A follow up to her Sam Smith duet “Dancing With a Strange‘, ‘Motivation’ is the lead single off Normani’s upcoming debut album.
Dave Meyers and Daniel Russell directed the music video. It pays homages to music videos from the early 2000s, in a fun and representative way.
