Ma E released the artwork for his new album ‘Township Counseller’ which drops on the the 25th of March.

Pearl Thusi and D’banj to host ‘Lip Sync Battle Africa’

MTV has named the hosts of ‘Lip Sync Battle Africa’and the mic has landed in the hands of South African TV Presenter Peal Thusi and Nigerian musician D’banj. Together the duo will host two African celebrities every week that will go head to head in an epic lip syncing battle of performing classic songs, ultimately crowning the winning contender that week’s champion.

 ‘Lip Sync Battle Africa’ will debut on MTV every Thursday from 14 April at 20:50 CAT and on MTV Base at 11:30 CAT every Saturday from 16 April. e.Tv viewers will be singing along every Saturday from 23 April at 18:30 CAT. Viewers will also be able to enjoy Lip Sync Battle Africa in high definition (eHD) on both OpenView HD (Channel 104) and DStv (Channel 194).

Bucie survives horrific Car Crash

Award winning South African singer Bucie was involved in a car accident. Fortunately she and a friend who she was travelling with survived, although her car was completely damaged. Speaking to local newspaper the Daily Sun, Bucie revealed that the accident took place at a four-way stop after a traffic light went out. “The traffic lights were not working and I guess people still don’t know how four way stops work.“I was the first to arrive at the stop and I was about to turn when another car just came in my direction and bumped into me.” Well that’s a relief!
